What do I do when I get to the conference?

First thing, head to the registration desk and get your badge, your banquet ticket(s) and your conference materials. Remember to wear your conference badge at all times! (Washoe County Sheriffs Office and Reno Police Department are providing diligent security at this event and will escourt unidentified persons to the door.)

Do I need to bring my own gear?

Yes, while some trainers will bring gear, it's a good idea to bring your own. This is especially true for firearms, ammunition, hearing protection and eye protection. A rough estimate for all range classes is no less then 300 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition for each range class you intend to take.

Where do I ship to?

If your shipping gear or booth materials, you wil ship your items directly to the business center at the Grand Sierra 775-789-2478

Can I bring my wife / husband / girlfriend / boyfriend or children?

Sure, but keep in mind that while you get one badge and a banquet ticket with your registration this does not include a guest. If you bring someone and they plan on taking part in classes or visiting the exhibit floor they will need to register as a fully paid attendee. If you plan to bring someone to the mixers only they will need a mixer ticket, please make these arrangements early since space is limited. Registration and additional mixer tickets can be bought on-line through this website or at the door (based on availability). No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the conference, training sessions, range sessions or the mixers. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please keep in mind the theme of this conference and the needs and feelings of your fellow conference attendees and dedicated exhbitors when you consider brining children. No Minors below the age of 18 are allowed in the exhibit area, in classes, on the range. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in either of the mixers. Because of the type of training being conducted, the type of products on display and the relative risks on the range there are NO EXCEPTIONS.

Also please remember that everyone must wear their issued conference ID badges at all times! Washoe County Sheriffs Office and Reno Police Department provide 24 hour security on this event and will expel anyone who is not properly badged. This is done for safety and security.

If I am taking part in live fire range training, do I need to bring my own weapons and ammunition?

YES, its always a good idea to come prepared with the required ammunition for your classes. We do our best to secure sponsors, but with the nature of the economy sometimes this is not always possible. We will, however, have a local source available for ammunition sales that will provide ammunition at discount prices.

As for firearms, because of expense and concerns expressed by our insurance carrier, the Warrior Conference WILL NOT loan or rent firearms to anyone, so please plan on bringing your own or making arrangements with a third party to borrow or rent firearms.
